Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic (DASC), 3047 N Lincoln Ave., Chicago, ILLINOIS, 60657, United States.

As part of our launch of DASC Academy, we are continuing our mission to disseminate top quality, empirically-based treatments here in Chicago. Our first big event is an intensive training series the first week of October. We are offering a series of three small group, personal, and intensive workshops on three different in-demand topics. All will be led by DASC staff, and seating will be very limited. First, Dr. Rodney Benson will walk you through the ins and outs, the dos and don'ts of exposure therapies for PTSD. Next, Dr. Lauren Neaman and Becky Martin, LPC will lead an experiential workshop on CBT for insomnia. Finally, Dani Walsh, LSW and Molly McLeese, LCPC will present the latest approaches in empirically-driven interventions for GAD and OCD.

DASC-Chicago

The Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago was founded in 2005 after it became apparent that there was a significant shortage of quality Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) available in Chicago. Many people with treatable disorders, such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Anxiety and Major Depressive Disorder were suffering needlessly because they could not access quality care. It has been the mission of DASC to address this shortage by providing services to those suffering and also offering training opportunities to other professionals to increase the availability of CBT and DBT. DASC has a highly-trained clinical staff specializing in using and teaching CBT and DBT. Opportunities for ongoing consultation and training in CBT and DBT are available. www.dascchicago.com
